At QuickPick, we are committed to providing high-quality fitness products. If you experience an issue with your purchase, this policy explains your rights and our return procedures in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (Act 68 of 2008) and other applicable South African laws.

1. Change of Mind

If you change your mind after placing an order, QuickPick does not generally offer refunds or exchanges unless required by South African law.

If applicable under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), customers who qualify for a statutory cooling-off period must notify us within the legally prescribed period and return the product unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

To qualify for a return, the product must:

  • Be unused and in resalable condition.
  • Include all original packaging and accessories.
  • Be free from damage, stains, or signs of wear.
  • Be returned within the applicable legal timeframe.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by QuickPick or a defective product.

2. Defective Products

Under Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, customers are entitled to products that are:

  • Safe
  • Durable
  • Of good quality
  • Free from manufacturing defects
  • Reasonably suitable for their intended purpose

If your QuickPick Magnetic Gym Bag develops a manufacturing defect within 6 months of delivery, you may return it for assessment.

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, QuickPick will provide one of the following remedies as required by South African law:

  • Repair the product
  • Replace the product
  • Refund the purchase price

3. What Is Not Covered

The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered under this policy:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Cosmetic scratches after use.
  • Damage caused by misuse or abuse.
  • Damage caused by carrying excessive weight.
  • Damage resulting from drops or accidents.
  • Damage caused by improper storage.
  • Damage caused by water immersion, chemicals, fire, or extreme temperatures.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Damage caused by attaching the bag to unsuitable or unstable surfaces.

Products returned with these conditions may be refused.

4. Incorrect, Missing or Damaged Orders

If you receive:

  • The wrong product,
  • A damaged product,
  • An incomplete order,

please contact QuickPick within 48 hours of delivery.

Photographs of the packaging and product may be required before a replacement or refund is processed.

5. Return Procedure

To request a return, please contact us before sending any product back.

Please include:

  • Full Name
  • Order Number
  • Contact Number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs where applicable

Returns sent without prior authorization may experience delays in processing.

6. Return Shipping

If a product is confirmed to be defective or incorrectly supplied, QuickPick will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping.

Where a return is not due to a manufacturing defect or our error, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by South African law.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for funds to reflect, depending on your financial institution.

8. Product Safety

The QuickPick Magnetic Gym Bag contains strong magnets.

For safe use:

  • Do not place the bag near medical devices such as pacemakers or implanted medical equipment.
  • Avoid placing the magnets near sensitive electronic devices or magnetic storage media.
  • Always ensure the bag is securely attached to a suitable metal surface before leaving it unattended.
  • Do not overload the bag beyond its intended use.

QuickPick accepts no responsibility for damage or injury resulting from improper use, misuse, or failure to follow these safety recommendations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act or any other applicable South African legislation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickPick shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of its products.
